The V&A image is a result of a blind drawing of the V&A courtyard. When I choose a subject for my work often I am initially attracted to patterns in the image, but it this case after many drawings I homed into a small section of my drawing. The colour combination was inspired by studying Albers 'Interaction of Colour'.
